Calling all CIOs & CTOs and Aspiring Tech Graduates!

Introducing Women in Technology's newly created one-day program designed to enable aspiring Tech Graduates to shadow a CIO or CTO for the day gaining industry insights, confidence and networks.  We are actively seeking both male and female leaders to support our graduates.

Program Overview and Commitment

Pre-Session (Graduates only) (30mins):

  • Monday 2nd September, time TBC
  • Webinar: Introduction and preparation 
  • Toolkit: One-page prework guide 

Shadow Day (Leaders & Graduates):

  • Thursday 5th September, 10am - 4pm 
  • Full-day shadowing experience, coordinated between leader and graduate

Post-Session (Graduates only) (30mins):

  • Monday 9th September, time TBC
  • Webinar: Debrief and reflection
  • Toolkit: One-page post work guide

Graduate Information: Background: University student, currently attending a graduate university or VET program, TAFE student.  Have availability to complete the pre and post session work and be available to attend the shadow day.

Leader Requirements:

  • CIO or CTO level
  • Have capacity to have a Graduate shadow you for the day
  • Free to participate

Matching and Shadow Day:  We will match Graduates and Leaders and facilitate their connection to arrange details for the shadow day. 

Debrief and Follow-Up: After the shadow day, we will host a debrief session for Graduates to discuss experiences, hurdles, and confidence issues.
