The WiT Inspiration Series invites you to join us for an inspiring morning!

Be inspired and motivated by the achievements and contributions our panel have made and how they are paving the way for women in STEM. These inspiring women will talk about their career journeys, the hurdles and challenges they have overcome and the foundations they have laid for a more diverse and flexible future for our STEM community.

Your ticket includes:

  • The opportunity to network with attendees 
  • Tea, coffee and a light breakfast snack will be served during networking
  • Inspiring insights from our Panel
  • Q&A time with our Panel

Timing:

  • 7:30am - 7:55am - Arrivals and networking
  • 8:00am - 9:00am - Welcome, panel and Q&A time
  • 9:00am - 9:30am - Networking for attendees who wish to stay after the panel

Iyari Cevallos has over 15 years of global experience managing unique and complex engagements in the resource, banking, telco, energy and tourism sectors. She has a proven record of delivery in operational performance, digital transformation change, governance and risk management in both the public and private sectors.

As a passionate leader in fast paced and evolving environments, she has been fundamental in influencing and leading positive change, contributing to a more equitable, just and sustainable society.

Megan Mathieson, FR Product Manager (Acting) - bdna

Megan has over 16 years of experience in forensic science, specialising in DNA analysis, and a background as a medical pathology scientist, she brings a deep understanding of both the technical and practical aspects of forensic investigations.

Currently, she is leveraging her expertise in software development to create innovative solutions tailored for forensic practitioners, aiming to enhance efficiency and impact societal safety.

Her career is driven by a passion for making a meaningful difference in the world. She is dedicated to advancing forensic science through cutting-edge technology and continuously seeks new things to learn and grow.

Approachable and committed to contributing positively to the community, she is enthusiastic about exploring new challenges and using her knowledge to drive progress in the field of forensic science and technology.


Tash Wick, Chief People Officer - Data#3 Limited

Tash has over 30 years in ICT and the last 16 of those at Data#3, Tash has been a pivotal figure in shaping Data#3’s human resource and organisational development strategies, whilst fostering a high performance and inclusive culture, ensuring attraction, retention and development of a diverse and talented workforce. In 2023 Tash received the ARN – Channel News Achievement, recognising her outstanding contributions to the ICT Industry. In addition to this, Data#3 has been recognised as an Employer of choice for the last 9 years and has been accredited as A Great Place to Work.

Tash has HR qualifications, is a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management and has completed the Governance Essentials Certificate through the Governance Institute of Australia.


Soumya Nair, AVP Business Analytics & Transformation - PCCW Global Limited

Soumya has over 16 years of experience spanning 8 industries, she brings expertise in crafting and executing business strategies that drive technology transformation and enterprise-wide impact. Her focus lies in aligning organizational vision, fostering data-driven insights, and advancing innovation.

She leads cultural shifts and mature core business functions to support effective commercialization, with an MBA from UQ that further enhances her strategic and commercial acumen.
