About This Opportunity

The University of Queensland is currently acquiring new Human Resources, Workforce Management and Payroll Systems and requires the expertise of a Senior Program Coordinator to provide project planning and scheduling services to the Human Capital Management Solution (HCMS) program.

The Senior Program Coordinator will be responsible for developing and monitoring of plans and schedules, baselines, activity progress and completion, and identification of trends and corrective/preventative actions to influence on-budget delivery of the program’s objectives.

This position is located at our picturesque St Lucia campus, renowned as one of Australia’s most attractive university campuses, and located just 7km from Brisbane’s city centre. Bounded by the Brisbane River on three sides, and with outstanding public transport connections, our 114-hectare site provides a perfect work environment – you can enjoy the best of both worlds: a vibrant campus with the tradition of an established university.

Our Ideal Candidate

The Senior Program Coordinator will have completed, or currently be progressing towards, postgraduate qualifications. Proven experience, knowledge and expertise working in a similar role is essential in the success of this position, ideally with exposure to a HCMS, Payroll or ERP program.

We are seeking a dynamic professional, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport across a variety of layers within The University.  A demonstrated background in scheduling in MS Project in complex ICT programs and practical experience with maintenance/administration of Jira and Confluence will be essential in this position.

What We Can Offer

This is a full-time, 8 month fixed term position at HEW 8.

The full-time base salary will be in the range $100,264 - $112,583, plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range $117,309 - $131,723.
