  Emerging Women in Leadership Workshop

Looking to develop your leadership skills and knowledge?

Today’s leaders must navigate cultural, social & economic forces with poise and resolve.  Leaders need to be in touch with advances in technological and interchanging worldviews, as well as shifting workplace structures, demographics and expectations, to stay ahead of the competition.

This short workshop covers key topics, including self-awareness, relationship management skills, building self-confidence, leadership behaviours and communication styles.

Using practical activities and robust discussion to reinforce theory, you will take away fresh insights and practical advice on polishing your leadership skills. Importantly, you will define and explore what effective leadership looks like to you, and prepare an individual action plan to support good leadership as it applies to your role.

With two dynamic leaders from diverse backgrounds, this workshop is your introduction to better understanding essential leadership skills and how to redefine yourself and your professional abilities.

You will develop your personal capability through:

  • Understanding your personal operating style and how it impacts on those around you.
  • Identifying and applying cognitive, emotional, and social intelligence skills to the role of a leader
  • Exploring key leadership behaviours and skills necessary for the management of organisational strategy and change
  • Recognising and implementing appropriate communication styles, conflict management, and influencing skills to achieve balanced outcomes.
