Invitation Only Board Readiness ProgramTM Graduate Luncheon

The WiT Board Readiness Program was established to:

  • support women in achieving the skill set to become highly competent board member
  • promote benefits of directors on boards with technology skills
  • partner with others involved in developing board skills
  • enhance participant's career through access to resources, practical training & mentoring
  • achieve successful board placements in all sectors

A key part of the program is an Invitation Only Industry Luncheon attended by senior executives, Board Directors & senior representatives from Queensland Government to provide Graduates an opportunity to network.

We are honoured to have two fabulous key note addresses for you on the day from Monica Bradley and Julie McKay.

Monica has a remarkable innovation mindset.  As a Non-Executive Director and adviser, she helps design strategies that deliver growth.. Her portfolio of directorships & advisory roles include corporate, government, social enterprises and startups.  Monica is an engaging talent with exceptional strategy and global advisory experience. She returned to Brisbane in 2012 after impressive career in US and Middle East. Monica is a sought-after NED, adviser, mentor and investor, who uses innovation to grow and adapt ventures to create globally competitive organisations.

As Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer of PwC, Julie has responsibility for ensuring PwC is implementing world leading inclusion strategies and supporting clients wishing to benefit from more diverse and inclusive organisations.  She has more than 10 years experience in the area of diversity and inclusion. Between 2007 and April 2016, Julie was the Executive Director of UN Women Australia, working to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment globally and in recent years, has also served as the Gender Advisor to the Chief of the Australian Defence Force, working to support their cultural change program.
