ICT City Series Breakfast #3 with Carla Wall, Coins Australia

People First and Results Second

From being labelled as “one of the biggest disappointments in the school” at age 14 to becoming an award-winning leader in the software and construction industries, hear from transformational change guru Carla Wall on why it’s smart business to put “People First and Results Second”.

Carla will talk to the importance of planning for business growth, mental health and self-care, as well as brand building, sharing her story and offering practical strategies to assist in boosting your success. She will also explain how you can get the same bottom-line results by leading with kindness, empathy and authenticity, encouraging others to be part of this human-centric movement.

Weaving 20+ years of experience, thought-provoking storytelling, humour, honesty and an unashamed approach to disclosing vulnerability, breakfast with Carla will be like chatting to that friend who knows a thing or two about business and who always offers helpful advice.

Your Presenter:

Carla Wall had an adventurous youth hailing from the UK, Carla was inspired by a mother who, after raising young children, reinvented her career. From rebellious teen years to repeating school, migrating countries and working in male-dominated industries, Carla’s path to success has been far from traditional, however, absolutely character building, with her grit, determination and passion never wavering.

A fearless leader and changemaker, Carla is a proud advocate for women, as well as a passionate champion for social enterprise. She is an avid traveller with only two pages left in her current passport for stamping, a serial ‘whodunit’ book reader, and takes inspiration from the likes of Cheryl Sandberg and Brené Brown. Handy to know, she is a self-confessed crisis manager, adept at making tough decisions albeit with a sense of humour never far away
