Digital Skills Cadetship Program Information Session

Women in Technology are working on in partnership with MEGT and Prodigy Learning via a grant from the Australian Government, Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) an innovative Returnship program to assist 200 woman across Australia who are planning to either return to work or pivot into a career in IT.  The Cadetship Program is designed to support women re-entering the workforce or looking for a pathway in technology/IT to take the first step in a career in this field.  Women involved in this program will come from 3 distinct backgrounds.

  • Women returning to the workforce from an extended break
  • Women from underrepresented groups such as newly arrived migrants, refugees, indigenous communities
  • Women transitioning from underemployed industries affected by COVID and other circumstances ie: retail, hospitality
