WiT Mentoring Program - Cohort 1 Mentors Workshop

Use this event listing to register for the 2024 WiT Mentoring Program as a mentor for FREE

The 12-week WiT Mentoring Program kicks-off with a half-day foundational workshop for mentors on Thursday 8th February 2024 to help you jump into the program with ease.

You must attend this workshop in order to be able to participate in the program. 

What will be covered in the workshop:

• Introduction to the program
• Roles & responsibilities of Mentors
• Mental models – enablers and blockers
• Guiding and supporting mentees
• Goals for program
• Meet the mentees - speed dating style

Note: Signing up for the Workshop means you agree to participate as a Mentor in the program either in this cohort or future cohorts.  You cannot take part in the program unless you complete this workshop. Every effort will be made to match you with a Mentee; however, it also cannot be guaranteed.

Once you have registered to become a mentor on the program an email will be sent to you with a link to complete a simple Questionnaire to assist us in the matching process.

Important Dates:

• Thursday 8th February - Mentor Workshop and meet the Mentees (in person) 11:30am - 4pm
• Thursday 21st March - Morning Midway check in (virtual)
• Wednesday 24th April- Closing Breakfast (in person)
