The 2025 Women in Technology Board Readiness Program

This 8-week Program is designed for female leaders from STEM industries to develop the skills, confidence and networks required to take the next step to becoming a successful board director, all within a safe and inclusive environment.

Program inclusions:

• Introduction to the Role of the Director & Learning how to strategically think as a board director - facilitated by AICD
• Finance for board directors - build confidence in interpreting financial reports to support strategic decision-making
• Personal branding - find out how to position your CV to stand out at Board level
• Engage in insightful panel discussions with experienced board directors, offering real-world perspectives and strategies
• And having the opportunity to put the above into practice by recreating a board meeting environment with your fellow participants and working through a set scenario
• Graduation ceremony and luncheon

Program commitments

Attendance:

Attendance is in person at Shine Lawyers, Level 13, 160 Ann Street, Brisbane.

The Program runs every week across a mix of Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5:30pm - 8:30pm.

Commencing on 23rd April with an online welcome session, the workshops will then continue in person from Thursday 1st May every week (mostly Thursdays with a couple of Tuesdays in the mix). The program concludes with a graduation lunch on Friday 4th July, commitment to attend each workshop is required.

Course cost:

• Members $2,250.00
• Non-Members $2,500.00 (includes a 1-year WiT membership, values at $99)
