Overview
The program focuses on amplifying your core emotional intelligence capabilities, leaving you better able to navigate conflict and resistance from your team, recognise the impact of stress on your team, and role model effective balance away from the workplace.
Research conducted by Gallup has found that the emotional intelligence (EQ) of leaders directly correlates to employee tenure and productivity, with most employees caring more about their relationship with their boss than their salary. Emotional intelligence is a key ingredient in successful leadership and can be developed through practice.

Gain deep insights through two verified diagnostics: Agile EQ and Everything DiSC Catalyst.
Virtual Interactive Session Delivery
Sessions are 90 mins duration and fortnightly Thursdays between 1:00pm - 2:30pm (AEST)
- Session #1 - Neuroscience & emotions- The drivers of human behaviour (23rd October)
- Session #2 - Using EI to facilitate trust & a high performance culture (6th November)
- Session #3 - Increase resilience & responsive agility to EI (20th November)
- Session #4 - Leading situationally with EI (4th December)
This is an 8-week intensive program with readings and activities prior to each of the live sessions. The readings and activities should take 1-2 hours per week and are designed to enhance your learning so that you are prepared for the live sessions.
Accreditation Pathway
On completion, you’ll be eligible for the Nationally Accredited Micro-Credential BSBLDR502 – Develop and Use Emotional Intelligence, contributing towards a Certificate IV in Business Leadership (BSB40120*)
