Please note, this is a permanent position which is based in Brisbane, but we are open to people travelling as we have a very strong hybrid working model with a routine day in the office every week or two. 

WHAT’S THE ROLE?  

You will ensure delivery of automated testing as part of a major development project that will deliver a SaaS Cloud Native People & Payroll solution. Your responsibilities include: 

• Work as part of a multi-skilled team to deliver great solutions to the business. 
• Develop and execute automated test cases, scenarios and scripts for functional and release testing. 
• Champion a quality first culture within the team, and wider business. 
• Work on all phases of the software delivery process, from requirements through design and delivery to implementation and support. 
• Contribute to the automated test strategies and methodologies used by the team. 
• Work closely integrated with the development teams to deliver all stages for the solution, from initial prototype through to production release 

WHAT SKILLS ARE NEEDED?

You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy working collaboratively as well as independently, along with the following skills:

• You have 3+ years working in Quality Assurance with a focus on writing Automated Testing using a programming language such as Javascript. 
• Tertiary qualification in Bachelor of Science / Technology.
• Familiar with a range of automated testing tools for all levels of testing. Playwright experience incredibly useful. 
• Previous experience testing API’s with Postman or other such API testing tools.
• Experienced in the execution of test scripts – User Acceptance, Regression, Functional and Release Testing.
• Experience integrating Automated Testing into DevOps processes and CI /CD pipelines. 
• Experience with version control system, such as Git and Bitbucket. 
• Strong attention to detail and driven to produce a quality product.
